Since the rains have come we’ve been planting some of the seeds I
brought. Here we are “stick planting”. We take a stick, poke it
into the muddy soil, drop one or two seeds in, then use the stick to
cover it up with dirt.

One of the farm workers here, named Ken, has been helping me out a lot
with planting the seed. I was trying to tell him what everything was
to the best of my knowledge (because I don’t know what some of the
stuff is that I brought) but instead I found that it was easier for
him to just look at the seed and then he would know where and how to
plant it. …atleast we’ll find out later if this method works out.
